I am sure that you all will agree with me when I say Mondays come around WAY too quickly. Honestly, I hate Mondays. Like, really, really hate. On Sunday I always find myself feeling sad and anxious that Monday is just around the corner. My mom always tells me to stop thinking about Monday and just enjoy the fact that it is Sunday – you lose an opportunity to be happy in the moment by stressing about what is to come. But, it is definitely easier said than done. Coincidentally, I have been reading a lot about mindset and how much it can make or break your day. I have been taking tiny steps towards having the right mindset not just when it comes to Mondays, but, also in every other area of my life. It sounds so cliché, but changing your mindset to focus on being grateful and thankful for all that you have, all that you have done, and are able to do, rather than focusing on what you do not have, did not accomplish, and cannot do, can put such a positive spin on your life. So, today instead of dreading that it is Monday, I am going to be grateful and thankful for the fantastic weekend I had full of friends and fun and one on one time with Amelia. I am going to focus on the fact that it is a new week, the slate has been wiped clean, and I have another opportunity to work towards my August goals. I am sure you have seen that exercise quote “never miss a Monday.” It is such a true statement because getting it done on a Monday sets the tone for the week. As much as I hate to admit it, Monday really is the best day of the week when it comes to mindset. A positive mindset on Monday sets you up for a productive week; a productive week makes you happy; you being happy makes others happy; and, when you and those around you are happy, life is dang good!
So, here’s to a positive mindset Monday! Make it a good one, friends!
I feel the exact same way every Sunday night! But what a great attitude you’re cultivating! You’ll have to teach me 🙂

Yes, yes, yes! “Changing your mindset to focus on being grateful and thankful for all that you have, all that you have done, and are able to do, rather than focusing on what you do not have, did not accomplish, and cannot do, can put such a positive spin on your life.”
Glad I am not alone in my feelings. Thanks for the uplifting post! 🧘

You are one of the most positive people I know, Jill. I feel like you wake up on Monday morning and tell it you own it! Ha! Learning to have a positive mindset is challenging, but, so rewarding!
