Hey friends! We are almost to the weekend! I am so excited because we are heading to the Orlando area tomorrow for one last hoorah before summer officially ends. I started gathering up some of my beauty items to pack and thought I would share with you all my morning skin care routine. Skin care is something that I only recently got into (probably because 40 is knocking on the door) and I love experimenting with products. I do try to keep it simple as I am usually rushing out the door in the morning.

These are the items I use in the morning in the order I use them:
- Mario Badescu Glycolic Foaming Cleanser. I love this cleanser. It is a mix of glycolic acid, sage extract, chamomile extract, and St. John’s wort extract. The directions say to use it 1-3 times a week, but, I use it everyday.
- Ole Henriksen Transforming Walnut Scrub. I grew up using St. Ives apricot scrub. I have come to realize that it probably is not the best for my skin at this point in my life. But, I do love a good face scrub. I got this in my Allure Beauty Box and I am obsessed. I use it 2-3 times a week.
- Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner. I only recently started using toner after reading about the positive effects it has on your skin. In as much as I use the glycolic foaming cleanser, I decided to stay in the same brand family and use this toner.
- Beautycounter Countermatch Eye Rescue Cream. This eye cream is lightweight and very moisturizing.
- Beautycounter No. 1 Brightening Facial Oil or Beautycounter No. 2 Plumping Facial Oil. Depending on how my skin looks, I have been switching between these two facial oils. They absorb nicely into your skin and do not leave your skin feeling oily.
- Beautycounter Countermatch Adaptive Moisture Lotion. I use this moisturizer right over the facial oil. I really like how lightweight this lotion is and that it hydrates your face all day.
I do not use a separate sunscreen because my IT Cosmetics cc cream is SPF 50. As for my night routine, I switch out a couple of the products. I will do a separate post for you all on that routine.
