Can I get a “whoop, whoop” for this long weekend! We do not have a ton of plans, which is always nice – but, what we do have planned runs the gamut from lounging around, to a dinner for one of my soul sisters, to cheering on the Florida State Seminoles. So, because I am a planner, I’ve been thinking about my outfits for the weekend. As I was planning out my weekend wear I thought this information might be helpful to you as well. Depending on what your plans are, I put together a comfy, casual, and date night/girls night option in case you needed some ideas/inspiration.
Cozy

Zella leggings are my absolute favorite. You can buy them at Nordstrom and while they are a little pricey, the quality is great and they last forever! Lucky for you the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is happening right now and there are quite a few Zella pieces included in the sale. This is the black and white sweater I posted about in my Old Navy Fall Try-on Post. It is oversized, covers your bum, and a great sweater to lay around in. If you must venture outside to check the mail, these bow slides are a perfect slip-on shoe. They are old from Old Navy.
Casual

Ok, so college football starts this weekend – can I get an Amen! If you are heading out to watch your favorite team, this jean short, tee, and statement necklace combo is perfect. The shirt is from Bows & Arrows and I featured it in my Game Day Style post. The jean shorts are William Rast from Macy’s. They are included in the Labor Day sale and are an additional 20% off making them under $25.00. The sandals are Jack Roger jellies and the arrow necklace is from Charley’s, a local boutique.
Date night/Girls night

It is still hot as heck here in Florida – so I love the idea of dressing up a cute pair of shorts. These scallop shorts are from JCrew Factory. The bow shirt is from JCrew Factory as well. Last time I checked, they were both included in the JCrew Factory sale happening right now. The shoes are old from Old Navy and the earrings are from Target. Pair it with a nude colored bag or even a cheetah print bag and you are all set.
What are your plans for the weekend? Whatever they are, I hope this post gave you some outfit inspiration and that you enjoy your long weekend!
