September Goals.

Well, I am a few days behind … I mean, seriously is the month already over half way over?!? This month is proving to be a tough one. I started this post almost 2 weeks ago, but, just could not find the time or motivation to finish it. But, here they are, just a tad bit late.

  1. Join the YMCA or a gym offering classes.   I believe a more attainable goal is to work out 2 times a week, anything more will just be gravy! I have been jonesing to get back to working out and it will definitely benefit my physical and mental health.
  2. Work on myself.  There are some things going on in my life right now that I need to sort out and work through.  I have a couple of self help/inspirational books that I am reading right now (Like She Owns the Place: Give Yourself the Gift of Confidence and Ignite Your Inner Magic and Girl, Wash Your Face: Stop Believing the Lies about Who You so You Can Become Who You Were Meant to Be). But, I’m thinking I want/need more of a guided, self-reflection, workbook or course, or something that I can work on over a course of days, weeks, months.  I don’t know exactly what I’m looking for, but, I’ll do some research and update you all on what I found in case you are in need of the same thing. Also, if you have any recommendations, let me know.
  3. Gain Instagram followers. I have been working hard on my content, pictures, and hashtags.  Hashtags are life when wanting to gain IG followers.  I’ve also been reading Influencer: Building Your Personal Brand in the Age of Social Media by Brittany Hennessy and trying to execute the tips that she gives for those of us just starting out in the social media world. I love the IG forum and I post more often on there about sales because it’s an easier/quicker forum to do so.  So, if you haven’t followed me on IG, what are you waiting for?
  4. Phone detox. Ok, I know this sounds like an weirdconsidering I just started a blog and IG account.  However, too much of my downtime is spent perusing social media on my phone.  I want to try to designate times throughout the day that I utilize social media and spend more time at night focusing on Amelia and myself.
  5. Focus on my productivity at work to successfully close out the year.  I am on track to have a successful year at my Firm.  Now, more than ever, I want to focus on my monthly collection goals so that I can finish strong and get a bonus, and, hopefully a raise.

What are your goals for September?
